The CATPHAN 700 allows for the following measurements and tests: • Slice thickness and sensitivity • Spatial resolution (up to 21 lp/cm) • Phantom geometry verification • Patient alignment system verification • Supra-slice low-contrast sensitivity • Sub-slice low-contrast sensitivity • Spatial uniformity • Bed increment • CT system background noise • Circular symmetry • Sensitometry (linearity) • Matrix dimensions • Modulation transfer function for the X, Y, and Z axes.
