The DATA SPECTRUM brand NEMA scatter phantom is developed in accordance with the recommendations of the National Association of Manufacturers (NEMA) to standardize the measurement of scintillation camera count rate performance in the presence of scattered radiation. The phantom is a high-density polyethylene cylinder divided into four parts for ease of transport and storage. The source line parallel to the cylinder's center axis is offset by 4.5 cm.
