The Data Spectrum NEMA distribution ghost is developed in accordance with the recommendations of the National Association of Manufacturers (NEMA) to standardize the measurement of the metering rate of a scintillation camera in the presence of diffused radiation.
The ghost is a high density polyethylene cylinder broken down into four parts to facilitate its transport and storage. The source line parallel to the central axis of the cylinder is offset by 4.5 cm.
