Cylindrical phantom for overall MRI performance evaluation
The cylindrical MAGPHAN phantom is used to measure or test the following parameters in the transaxial, coronal, sagittal, and oblique planes: • Spatial uniformity • Scan slice thickness and contiguity • Verification of the patient alignment system • Spatial resolution up to 11 lp/cm² • Geometric distortion (spatial linearity) • Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) • Low-contrast sensitivity • T1 and T2 measurement • Evaluation of 3D volume reconstruction • Testing of in vitro samples.
