2025 marks a pivotal year for Meditest . After 40 years of expertise serving medical imaging professionals, the company welcomes a new CEO, Thibaut Baudson, and outlines a renewed ambition. Enhanced proximity, accessible innovation, and exemplary service: three strategic pillars to meet the growing challenges of a rapidly evolving sector. Discover the vision that will guide Meditest in the years to come and the concrete commitments that translate it into action every day.
Experienced leadership serving a clear vision
A 20-year career at the heart of oncology and radiotherapy
Thibaut Baudson joins Meditest with exceptional experience: 20 years in oncology and radiotherapy, working alongside the biggest players in the sector. His career illustrates a rare understanding of the technical, clinical, and industrial challenges that shape medical imaging today.
It all started at Oncos , where he worked as a consultant and then co-manager, specializing in medical physics and beam modeling for radiotherapy. This first experience forged his intimate knowledge of the field constraints faced by medical physicists and oncology departments.
He continued his career at Philips , where he successively held the positions of radiotherapy modality specialist and then oncology business marketing manager. This dual technical and marketing background allowed him to grasp the complexity of the hospital decision-making cycle and to develop a strategic vision of the market.
In 2022, Thibaut joined Elekta as sales manager software, consolidating his expertise in software solutions for planning and managing radiotherapy treatments — a segment undergoing a digital transformation.
This unique trajectory gives him a 360° vision today: he understands the challenges of users (physicists, manipulators, radiotherapists), masters the constraints of manufacturers, and knows how to translate clinical needs into operational solutions.
A strong conviction: doing well is no longer enough
I am convinced that simply doing things well is no longer enough. We must offer the best possible care for each patient. This requires technical excellence, but also support that enables healthcare professionals to fully master the tools we provide.
Thibaut Baudson
This quote sums up his ambition for Meditest : excellence as the standard, not the exception. In a context where the stakes for patient safety and diagnostic performance have never been higher, this requirement translates into concrete choices regarding technologies, services, and support.
A sectoral context that calls for a new standard
Needs that continue to grow
The medical imaging and oncology sector is facing unprecedented pressure . According to the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC/WHO), more than 22 million new cases of cancer were diagnosed worldwide in 2022. This continued growth is putting significant strain on technical platforms: more patients, increasingly sophisticated protocols, and stricter regulatory requirements.
In this context, healthcare professionals — medical physicists, radiographers, biomedical engineers — face a triple challenge :
-
- Maintaining diagnostic and therapeutic quality despite the increasing workload
-
- Ensuring the safety of patients and staff in the use of ionizing radiation
-
- Optimizing resources (budgets, time, equipment) in a constrained environment
Meditest believes that the solution can no longer be limited to simply providing quality equipment. It requires comprehensive support, on-the-ground expertise, and responsive service that allows healthcare professionals to focus on their core mission: providing care.
Three strategic pillars to embody this ambition
Meditest 's commitment around three complementary and inseparable pillars : Safety & Performance, Accessible Innovation, Proximity as a commitment.
Safety and performance are inseparable
Every technological advancement must strike a balance between the expected clinical benefit and the management of risks associated with exposure to ionizing radiation. Meditest 's primary responsibility is to ensure that its proposed solutions meet the strictest requirements of the French Nuclear Safety Authority (ASN) and the Institute for Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety (IRSN).
Safety and performance are not mutually exclusive—they reinforce each other. A well-controlled installation means:
-
- Optimized image quality for reliable diagnoses
-
- A precise dose delivered in radiotherapy to maximize therapeutic effectiveness
-
- Enhanced protection for patients and professionals
-
- Guaranteed regulatory compliance
Our concrete commitments
-
- Rigorous selection of compliant technologies (IBA, Radcal, Ashland)
-
- Comprehensive support in quality control protocols
-
- Continuous regulatory monitoring and proactive alerts
-
- Transparent maintenance contracts, with no budget surprises
In practice
We never offer you an "acceptable" solution. We offer you the best one for your setup, your constraints, and your patients.
Innovation made accessible
Technological innovation abounds: artificial intelligence, 3D surface repositioning, real-time dosimetry, autosegmentation… But innovation is only valuable if it is controlled and immediately operational.
Meditest has chosen to select the best global innovations and make them accessible to French teams, regardless of the size of their establishment or their initial level of expertise.
Two recent partnerships illustrate this ambition
MVision AI : An AI-powered autosegmentation solution coupled with personalized predictive analysis of optimal dose distribution. In the context of increasing workloads for medical physicists, this technology saves valuable time while ensuring the best possible dose distribution for each patient —not just an acceptable solution, but truly the best.
Omniscopiq : Swedish surface repositioning technology for radiotherapy, enhancing patient positioning and tracking with increased precision . Meditest is simultaneously developing innovative quality control solutions to guarantee the reliability of these systems.
Our approach

- Responsive technical support from our experts
-
- Support in learning and optimizing protocols
In practice
You gain access to the technologies of world leaders with the support of a French team that speaks your language and understands your constraints.
Proximity as a daily commitment
Proximity cannot be decreed; it is built day after day. Meditest is undertaking a profound transformation of its organization to be closer to its partners, respond faster, and provide better support.
Restructuring of sales teams
A sector-based approach with dedicated experts for each modality (radiotherapy, diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, radiation protection, dental radiology). Each sales representative possesses advanced technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the regulatory constraints of their segment.
The result: a contact person who speaks your language and understands your challenges.
Enhanced after-sales service

Total transparency
Maintenance contracts with clear scope, systematic quotes before intervention, no budget surprises . We believe that trust is built on predictability and honesty.
In practice
We want our clients to see us as long-term partners , not suppliers. This requires unwavering availability, attentiveness, and responsiveness.
An ambition for 2027
This transformation is not limited to tactical adjustments. Meditest has a clear ambition for 2027: to become the French benchmark for quality control in medical imaging, recognized as much for the excellence of its technologies as for the quality of its customer support.
This means, in concrete terms
-
- To be the preferred partner of healthcare facilities, both public and private, for their quality control and radiation protection needs
-
- Continue to select and distribute the best global technologies (IBA, Radcal, MVision AI, Omniscopiq…)
-
- To offer a level of service that sets the standard in the sector
-
- To train and support teams to guarantee their autonomy and skills development
This ambition is based on solid foundations: 40 years of expertise, ISO 9001:2015 certification, the exclusive partnership with IBA Dosimetry in France, and now integration within the OMNES MEDICAL group which strengthens our investment and development capabilities.
An invitation to build together
We want to write this new chapter with you. Whether you are a long-time customer or discovering MEDITEST today, we invite you to engage with our teams, share your feedback, and challenge us on our commitments.
Accessible excellence is not just a slogan—it's a promise we pledge to keep every day. And like any promise, it's measured by your satisfaction, your renewed trust, and the performance of your facilities.
"We have an immense responsibility: to contribute to the safety of patients and healthcare professionals. We carry this responsibility with high standards and humility. High standards in our choice of technologies, in the rigor of our processes, and in the responsiveness of our service. Humility in listening to your feedback and in our commitment to continuous improvement. We structure our commitment around three pillars — safety, quality, and performance — because we are convinced that we must offer the best possible care for every patient."
