Description
The CATPHAN 600 is designed to address the specific testing needs of helical CT scanners.
It incorporates modifications to evaluate the Z-axis variables encountered with helical scanners. The CATPHAN 600 allows for the following measurements and tests:

• Spatial resolution (up to 21 lp/cm)
• Phantom geometry verification

• Supra-slice low-contrast sensitivity
• Sub-slice low-contrast sensitivity

• CT system background noise
• Circular symmetry
• Sensitometry (linearity)
• Matrix dimensions
• Modulation transfer function for the X, Y, and Z axes.
